Yeah, of of course he scored a penalty against Sunderland uh late on to make it 2-0.
But um it's the the rest of the start to his season that I want to focus on because after quite an injury plagued season last year, difficult World Cup where he didn't play that much as much of the as he would have wanted to, he started the season with three goals in four games from an XG of two point eight seven, so very much like on course performing as he should be.
And he probably could have
have had more goals.
Um there was a really good chance in the first half against Sundon where Declan Rice played him in behind and he couldn't quite catch it right um it on the volley in the air.
Like it was close to goal.
It was a good chance.
But you know, um
Not everyone would score that.

And he's playing really well.
He's linking up really well with Ben White and Martin Ot but he's linking up really well with Ben White and Martin Odegaard down the right side of the pitch, which is a relationship that we've seen in previous seasons, but maybe last year we didn't get to see a lot of due to injuries um at kind of inconvenient times, so they didn't all get to play together.

Yeah, there's a little bit more positional fluidity maybe at the moment.
Um, but yeah, the the combinations with those players, um, he does look fit.
Um that's that was a point that I think a lot of Arsenal fans are really relieved by.
He played ninety minutes against Napoli and ninety minutes against Sunderland.
Whereas last season the the image of him kind of hobbling off after eighteen minutes every week was quite familiar.
