Many of the progressives in the progressive mainstream media, Jonathan, not one of those leaders came to Jesse Jackson Schumer.

Not one.

Judge Jackson laid in state two days in Chicago, took us by South Carolina, laid in state, and then we had a funeral two days.

Out of five days, not one of them came.

So progressive for who?

Respectful of who?

I am not going to be used by blacks in power or whites that claim progressive to use us as fodder for their fights.

That's why we need to stay with the root, and we need to be clear about that.

And those that are institutional, but that will tell the truth, like what Mela's trying to do in New York town.

We have not, I think William Clay said it best, we are no permanent friends or permanent enemies.

We have permanent interest.

And we were not looking for long-haired, progressive slave masters.

We were looking for freedom.

So I want to thank the panel.

You know, they said one writer wrote the other day that I was the first civil rights leader to have my own show on MSNBC.

This man sitting here brought my show on.
