We thank President Trump for having brought us to a point of thinking that now we have a real chance to take over our country.

Today, hundreds of thousands from Munich to Toronto to Los Angeles are standing in solidarity with the people of Iran as part of my call for a global day of action.

They are sending a clear message to the leaders of Western democracies to stand with the people of Iran.

Here in Munich,

Eighty-eight years after the Munich Agreement attempted to appease Hitler, we gather at an hour of profound peril to ask, will the world stand with the people of Iran or again appease a regime which has massacred over 40,000 of its own citizens?

Let me state the proposition plainly.

The fate of Iran is not merely an Iranian question.

It is a decisive test for global security in our time.
