So I didn't have anybody like that.
And we were 32.
So there was very few people who'd lost their husbands or wives.
So I didn't have many people like that.
And you do, again, I will admit, you do get quite angry about just general comments when you've been through these things.
And people mean well, but when they tell you they know how you feel because their dog died or their great granny died and stuff, that makes you think, no, you don't know how I feel.
But no, I think my coping mechanism always has been a talker, as you can probably tell.
But even from day one, people came and talked.
And we just talked about Paul and George and what happened.
And that was, for me, the biggest coping mechanism and getting up every morning, however hard it is.
And even today, I find it hard to get up some mornings.
Getting up every morning, getting the children dressed every day was part of my routine and I had to do it.
So I tried the GP.
The GP was amazing, to be fair.
He came out in the early days in his lunch hour to see me occasionally just to check in on me.
But he himself would sit there and say, I'm so sorry, but you'd have to wait about 18 months now to see somebody and receive some support.
And you're sat there thinking, well, my husband lasted five days, so don't bother.
Did get a counselor from a charity that did come out a few weeks after losing Paul.
But to be honest, I didn't find counseling helped me.
It helps people.
