Science is a keystone of modern civilization.
It's a tower of strength, shaping global culture, informing public policy, driving technology, providing solutions for medicine, earth system, and existential crises.
In today's world, the level of profound science illiteracy in people who have control over laws and legislation of the land is ruinous.
It's a prescription for the unraveling of an informed democracy.
Media oligarchs are promoting disinformation and gossip 24-7.
Left unchecked, it could dismantle civilization and end planetary colonization.
The methods and tools of science...
are advancement.
It's the best pathway to establish what is objectively true in the world.
And while science is objectively true, it also establishes what is objectively false.
If people have different belief systems, that's fine in a country that protects thoughts.
However, if you have a belief system that I don't have and rise to power over laws and create a law based on your belief system rather than science-based evidence, it's a cocktail for disaster.
On its current trajectory, it spells the ending of the American system of governance.
Furthermore, Mother Earth doesn't lie.
All living systems are self-organized, self-regenerating networks of interdependent, cooperative, biological communities.
People forget, but that includes human beings.
Earth is undergoing a critical transition.
This shift is characterized by flickering systems like melting polar ice and weakening ocean currents as Earth's system hurriedly approaches irreversible tipping points.
For example, all native forest biomes, boreal, temperate, tropical, are releasing carbon rather than storing it.
In the oceans, coral reefs simply cannot handle the heat.
