Well, the year before, I went to the 2010 U.S.

Open at Pebble Beach, and I ran into a college friend of ours, T.C., Ben Walter.

I hadn't seen him since college.

I just totally ran into him out of nowhere.

I was like, oh, I live in Chicago, and I'm working, whatever.

oh no way that's so cool who do you represent he's like oh that guy right there jason duffner you just look over this like super disinterested guy with the belly hanging up never heard of the guy before i was like oh cool man like that that's cool i'm glad you're out there doing it and then like a year later duff is just like so i'm going nuts i think duff i'm obviously following duffner's career from that point on i'm going absolutely ape as he's rallying it was kind of out of nowhere that he he was even involved in that one and then kind of his rise
