And the fact that that was the vehicle to bring me back together with ESPN is really awesome.
And it's something I'm very proud of.

But I was back in the SportsCenter chair for the first time in 23 years there.
But just writing it and going through the endeavor of writing the open and writing my on cameras and looking at the highlights, it was awesome.
It was just great memory lane stuff that I'm very lucky to do.
And to be honest with you, the way things ended with ESPN, it was a nice sort of cauterizing moment for me after 23 years.
Yeah, I mean...
When you get handed a cardboard box, it's 10 days before your wedding.
And there's a table full of executives who aren't showing to your wedding.
And you met your wife there.
It sucked.
It really sucked.
And then it was such a part of my identity.
Going from the way that I told you, the way I was born into national sports casting, that it was part of my identity.
My God, I never thought I would ever be anywhere but there.
It's a dream job, and I love being there, and I'm trying to be a good team player.
