So no, I I really I really admire your approach to that.
Um with resistance, there's there's a lot to it.
It could come in the form of, like we said, it could be subtle.
It could be something like
Let's say you're working on a book that is historical fiction, you can do so much research that research itself becomes a form of resistance.
But you have to research, we realize that, but yet you can get so caught up in that that that can be a form of proc of procrastination.
And when I'm reading the War of Art, I'm actually envisioning people in my life that I know that embody many of those traits that are a result of resistance.
It it's it's so and and sometimes that's me that embodies those traits.
So to to hear you as a successful, a very successful writer
write that and kind of say that it's okay, it's normal that you're gonna experience this and it's just something that you can that you have to work through.
And I love how you talk about inspiration and um you know, a lot of people well I'm waiting 'til I get inspired or whatever.
And and you you relay a story uh where you you're speaking to someone or or maybe you're just extracting a quote from someone, but they said, Yep, I strike whenever uh inspiration you know, I I write whenever inspiration strikes.
It just happens to be eight o'clock every morning or s something to that effect.
Yeah.
so many other books that you have also have that resistance uh theme to it.
Uh so as soon as I read War of Art, I I read Turning Pro, I read um Put Your Ass Where Your Heart Needs to Be, uh Where Your Heart Wants to Be.
All these other books do the work.
Um they're all very very inspirational and and they're sh they're relatively short.
