But what's really cool about going somewhere to write an article about hunting

is the adventure aspect of it and the unknown.

Whereas if I'm writing something about

You know, uh if it's a gun review

it's probably not that different than other gun reviews I've done.

If it's a tactical piece, it's probably similar to other tactical pieces.

But a hunt, you just don't know.

And that is so exciting to me.

Um and kinda to to go back to your other question about other aspirations.

I I have thought about writing another book, uh and I was uh

sort of in contract to do that, but that was r it was a book on police use of force.

And this was about twenty twenty-ish when you had so many crazy changes to uh what was acceptable use of force by police.

And for instance, I had a whole chapter on what we call the uh carotid restraint, or it's called the lateral vascular uh neck restraint.

It has a lot of different terms.

But what you're doing is applying pressure to the sides of the neck to render someone unconscious.

And it's a pretty safe way to control and subdue someone who's very violent.

But that is completely taken away now.

You can't do that.

And I had a whole chapter on that.

So I sort of backed off.
