I mean, you do, you know, for for years I had the you know, years reading the the the war of art over and over and
No, I'm I'm not always as prepared as I am this time, but it just happens to be uh happens to be something that I'm pretty pretty knowledgeable about.
And I will say this about the war of art too, like
I'll go on walks a lot and I'll I'll throw in my ear pods, uh airpods and uh
And I'll just listen to it and and I'll catch something out of it that I didn't that I didn't catch any other times.
And then the other books, your other nonfiction works, I find to be
similar to that, but just a slightly different take on things or the focus is on a little bit more of this than that.
And and and that's what really what really appeals to me the most.
Um government cheese was a great one too because
From reading The War of Art, I was very interested in in learning more about your early struggles and all that stuff uh that you sort of talk about in the War of Art.
And I I find that uh very interesting as well and and and motivational.
So there are a lot of books that focus on the craft of writing, right?
Like you talk about uh that focus on, you know, is there a comma here?
And and and to me I I I I don't mean to toot my own horn, but somehow, God knows I wasn't the best student, but somehow the
The actual writing part of it, like structuring sentences and things like that, has always come fairly easy to me.
For me, it's the motivation, it's the it's the discipline, it's the overcoming resistance that is really the key.
But it doesn't do you any good to overcome resistance if you don't have kind of the mechanics of writing as well.
So it's it's a little bit of both, I guess.
And you can find a lot of books about the craft, but not so much about the mindset.
