Well, this is a bit of a legal gamble.

Um, Mantiani of course the twenty eight year old who

uh is charged over the assassination of healthcare executive Brian Thompson back in twenty twenty four.

You'll remember that Manioni became something of a tabloid sensation after the murder.

Some rallied in his support claiming the health system is evil and corrupt and praising Manchioni's youthful good looks.

Some even call themselves Mangionistas.

It was a strange time.

Now it's all coming before the courts with Mangioni facing both federal and state charges.

Here over the killing.

But tomorrow, less than one month before that federal trial is supposed to begin, where Magioni is charged with stalking the CEO, his lawyer is suggesting that Mancioni could seek a plea deal.

We won't know unless and until it happens, obviously, but it seems that the feds are interested.
