I remember going to a place called Belsize Park and I went to hiding because there were so many press outside that little flat.

There's just so many photographers outside my house.

But like just so many, like I was fucking Princess Diana or something.

It was just like, why?

What are you all doing here?

I had this car, a strange car, and it was a convertible.

But when you converted it, the roof went into this electronic boot.

So it was quite a slow process.

And I came out of my house, I just do all these talks everywhere.

And I had to put my bag in the boot.

And to open the boot, it would just open really slowly.

And I put the key in, it goes, it's just so slow.

And they're all gathered around me.

I'm like, fucking speed up.

and they're all throwing questions at me.

I'm like, come on, just getting up and squeeze the bag in.

Once the bag's in, you turn the key to the other one and it goes... Just really slowly.

I thought, I can't stay here.

So I hid with a guy called Mitch, who was the voiceover artist on Live and Kicking.

I was in what was famous then, a pub called the Haverstock Arms on the Wednesday or Thursday night of that week.
