In November twenty twenty four
This building is the location of the second inquest into the death of Simone Strobel.
Simone's brother Alexander and sister Christina have come from Germany to be here.
On the first day, they stand in the shadow of the courthouse and address the media about the sister they lost in 2005.
Almost twenty years have passed since Simone was killed.
And still
Her family has no answers.
No justice.
Alexander is clear about exactly what he wants to know from the inquest.
Toby and Sam Moran have flown to Sydney to be at the inquest as well.
But Toby isn't obliged to give evidence.
And he doesn't.
Instead, he watches.
As the hearings get underway,
The two families will sit just metres apart over five days.
This new inquest will be in front of a new coroner, the state coroner of New South Wales, Theresa O'Sullivan.
It'll be up to her to come to a conclusion about what happened to Simone.
