When we look at TikTok and, for instance, the recommender algorithm, for us, that is about making sure that with a platform with 100 million pieces of content

uploaded every day, that is content that is relevant to the users of our platform.

What are you actually doing in terms of the recommender systems and the algorithms?

We know kids are seeing inappropriate content so it really is incumbent upon you to make sure that there is safety by design built into your algorithms and that kids are seeing age appropriate content.

Is it designed to be addictive?
