The coroner led me across the street and into a funeral parlor where I took a look at the late Will Baxter.
Six years with the Fifth Precinct Homicide and a couple of dozen killings should have conditioned me.
But like always, the first look shakes something loose in the middle of my stomach, and I have to keep swallowing hard.
