Now, when I say the place, the Amazon River empties out over a vast coastal area in South America.
It's not just one area.

a massive amount of fresh water emptying out into the atlantic all the time and carrying with it all kinds of silt and and biological material uh making that region of the world really biologically unique on many levels and very important ecologically but anyway in that region
the late 1970s a number of residents of one of the towns that are known as colares reported objects in the water maneuvering in the water emerging from the water entering the water sometimes hovering above in the air below them not in the water at all there's all kinds of ufo and uso activity being reported there i mean to the point where
locals were really talking about this a lot and encountering this phenomenon a lot and to the point where this phenomenon behaved in a way that
you really could say was quite aggressive.
And you could even say violent toward the local people to the point where people would be hit with beams of light from the aerial objects.
Sometimes while they were inside their homes, a light would penetrate through the ceiling or through the walls and harm them.
There was at least one reported death from this and many, many injuries.
A local doctor treated many of these people.
She is a well-known individual.
And then the Brazilian military got involved, Brazilian Air Force.
In fact, they named it, I think, Operation Saucer.
It translated into English.
