Absolutely, and and Craig's point is a hundred percent valid.
You know, uh are they gonna take it seriously enough because of that?
But you know, could you could you because they're bigger clubs with bigger revenue, could you dock them more a more percentage of the of the money?
I don't know.
Um I think that the idea in principle is is very good.
And I think a lot of it it seems to me that
It's it's what do we want Scottish food to be?
Do you want to buy into this this proposed change that
You know, I I can't see many people gonna say it's gonna be a bad thing, getting more young Scottish players playing in first teams in Scotland.
So do you want as a club, do you want to buy into that?
Or do you want to just go, you know what, we'll in the cups we'll play two young players but in the league we don't care.
Um
I don't know.
I I don't know if you'd want to be the outlier in Scottish football, you know, if every other club is is trying to do it and trying to promote our game and make our game better. 'Cause I think the problem
A lot of the time in in football is y we can't see the wood for the trees.
So we think short term, short term.
But Craig Mahollins, you know, he's talking five, ten years in the future Scotland squads of players who've played, you know, under twenty one minutes.
Most players who go on to international have played um at at that age.
So it's it's I I think I think Craig's point is absolutely valid, y and y you hope it doesn't happen, but it might that that clubs in the league just don't take it seriously.
Um but I'd certainly hope that they all would.
