Somebody's harmed you.
You want to harm them back.
That's healthy.
Um, but yes, to analyze it from a mature perspective in a detached way and say systemically, what's this actually going to produce?
What effect is this going to produce?
What do I want my life to look like?
Who am I?
What do I, what's the essence of my being all about?
Is this going to bring, is this going to allow me to be more of that?
Or am I going to waste a lot of time and energy and nonsense on something that's got nothing to do with who I want to be today?

It was an American friend of mine said to me, his theory was it's because of the reality TV we consume.
People like in a Big Brother or Love Island or whatever context, they bring people to the table and then they berate them and hold them to account.
And he was saying to me, he thinks it's like an entrainment.
Like people start to, they lose the boundary between reality and TV.
It's almost as though they know these people and the primitive parts of the brain are going, oh, what we do is we hold people to account.
And that's the right way to get things done.
