It is a horrible, horrible thing.
But I have some really good, but it exists.
And the reason you cannot, if you really care about electing Joe Biden, for example, you cannot vote for Robert Kennedy, not as a protest vote.
You can't vote for Jill Stein.
You can't vote for Cornel West because under our current electoral college system, that is a wasted vote.
and it'll most likely elect Donald Trump.
So that's the way it is.
It just is.
You cannot change it.
However, but you can change it.
You can't change the way it's gonna function in 2024, but we can eliminate the Electoral College as we know it for our very next presidential election in 2028.

How would that do?
There is a piece of legislation called the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, which almost nobody knows about.
And if young people who hate the Electoral College actually got out and voted in the swing states for Democratic state senators and state
legislators assembly people or House of Delegates people whatever it's called in their state and Democratic governors we could get enough votes to pass the national popular vote interstate compact in the additional few states that we need to do because that will end the electoral college as we know it and it could even happen by 2028 where we would be electing our 2028 president
Forget the electoral college.
Forget doing it by states where every single vote counts.
