I think that's the one that's
That's the one that stands out, the twenty thirteen season, when Vegas all of a sudden jumped on board and over the winter picked the Jays to win to go to the World Series out of the American League and and th that didn't happen.
That didn't come close to happen.
There were so many disappointments and you know, to say RA Dicky was a disappointment, now you look back on a guy who pitches two hundred innings every year
and wins ten, twelve, thirteen games and we're considering 'em a huge disappointment.
But there were so many that year.
That's that's the big season that I can compare.
Right, but Hayes, we've talked about this before, is that this season is different because of the way they've built that pleasure palace at Roger Center and and they can't afford two years down the road to bounce back.
And I think that's why the trade deadline was a success for the front office, whether they
get that third postseason spot, that w third wildcard spot or not.
It's a success because they kept the interest of the fan base.
You said twenty and ten.
That's a pretty accurate statement of what they need to do.
That would get them to eighty four wins.
But they haven't shown that they can be twenty and ten at any point this season.
But the fans are still interested.
The fans are still coming out.
Um and and they also have built
a starting rotation for next year and since December first seems to be a lockdown date for baseball, they can go into that December first work stoppage and say, Hey fans, we've got our rotation.
We're seeing if guys can come back from injury that were hurt on the offensive side of the ball.
