But, I mean, give them something where Carolina goes, geez, I don't know what to do against this line.
Maybe it would, you know, at least give some momentum to the Canadians and they'd come out.
And I think if they ever scored the first goal, they might make it a bit of a different game.
because then they'd get some hope.
Because I think if Carolina comes out, and I really believe that they're going to come out as hard as they can, and they want to bury them in the first period, if Montreal scores the first goal, they might say, hmm, we've got a chance.
And that's the only thing that I think can happen, if it does happen, that they're going to have a chance.
Because Carolina looks just overwhelmingly better than them right now.
Well, I mean, the only way, and Montreal's trying it and they can't do it.
And there's a reason the PK is so good is, A, their pressure.
But Montreal has to make four good passes in a row, almost one touch pass to beat their pressure.
And they can't.
And they're just attacking up front and they're making two good passes.
Or one good pass, the second pass is bouncing or it's not in your feet and they're on you so quickly, you know, they get it down the ice.
So what do you do?
You shoot the puck.
If they're going to front everything, you shoot the puck behind the net, not behind the net.
but off the board so the rebound comes out behind them and you try to get scrums in front of the net.
To me, it seems to be the only way.
I mean, when I had Paul McLean in Anaheim and we won the power play, like the best power play in the league, that's all we do.
We said we'd have the bread and butter.
