Um a document out of Iran in nineteen eighty seven.
Um to the idea had been floating around in jihadi circles for a while, but it does not appear that the nineteen of the September eleventh, the nineteen hijackers on September eleventh rehearsed in Iraq.
So any internet rumor to the side, there's no evidence for that.

in various hotel rooms and in gyms, uh, defending themselves.
Um, and they also practiced uh what they would do.
uh uh how they would take uh once they had the cockpit, what they would do with the aircraft, how they would level it off and so on.
And they also had quizzes, written quizzes for each other as well.

Um, and they did go to these uh flight schools.
Uh, where chillingly they said they didn't know how to they didn't need to learn how to take off or land.
They just needed to know how to operate the air the aircraft in the air.
We also don't understand the world that the people in their twenties see.
Because when we see the same reality they see, we're seeing it through the lens of twenty years of experience.
And we may be putting things into the wrong intellectual categories, right?
And they're able to see it.
