This is how it's been working for decades in Latin America.

It's the committees in the Senate and Congress.

The House Intelligence Committees and Senate Intelligence Committees.

And that's ultimately...

was supposed to provide these checks and balances on the secret services, including, of course, the CIA.

But as Fletcher Prouty explains, once the law was passed, that it's a criminal to reveal whether somebody works for the CIA or not.

And that was passed.
