Well, I knew we had the best record that we definitely ever made as a band, and the best sounding record with Bob Rock, who I still work with religiously, and Bruce Fairbairn unfortunately passed away.
I said to myself,
golly gee, I think we can make two million records out of this.
Worldwide, I'm talking.
And we'll work our asses off, because we did every bit of press.
Back then, it wasn't obviously social media and stuff like that.
Journalistic, newspapers, everything.
And going to radio stations, obviously.
Doing that was a big deal.

Just like crazy stuff.
And you're just going about your daily job, basically.
Yeah.
We said yes a lot to mostly everything and everywhere, but we did that beforehand, too, which seeded the garden for when we had a hit song.
Sure.
It was a hit song in 24 countries.
It's more than that.
But imagine the piracy, it was just insane.
