Apart from when he landed with 17 seconds left in the 11th round, a short right uppercut to send Rico down.
He was having some real problems in there, Steve, wasn't he?
Trying to work this style out in front of him, which is a rare thing, like I say, for Oleksandr Usyk, because he normally, over the course of 12 rounds, he normally works the opponents out, breaks them down,
and then takes them out.
But he just couldn't.
And I think there were times when I think Oleksandr Usyk literally went through his mind, yeah, I think I've got him now, I'm starting to get to him.
And then all of a sudden there'd be an injection of pace from Verhoeven, who just came at him from nowhere, and never mind the right hand, landed a couple of real good left hooks.
And a good few body shots.
Listen, it's a fight.

Now, there was some stuff in the ring afterwards I didn't like, which we will discuss in detail, and we will not shy away from naming names.

Rico, first of all, that was quite incredible.
It was brilliant.
