The bigger problems, frankly, are going to come at the end of June because clubs are rolling up debt.
The PAYE is going to have to be repaid sometime.
And, of course, at the end of June, we also have hundreds in League 1 and League 2, about more than 600 players coming out of contract.
So,
I think the virus will decide, Gary.
It's something we've got to be really conscious of and we've got to be conscious of
acutely conscious of the health and welfare of players and we can't just expect them to go out there and take risks and you know if we've talked about testing we've talked about sanitization we've talked about sterile stadiums and we can do all of that but if the virus hasn't gone away and there are still risks then we're going to have to be governed by that so as I said it's um
is uncertain but you'd also have to say that none of the news that's been coming out of the last few days gives any greater cause for optimism and everything seems to be getting
if anything, worse rather than better.
So we can't rush into this and take any risks at all.
So it's still, I mean, it's frustrating.
I wish we had an answer.
We don't have an answer.
And frankly, I don't think we're going to have an answer for at least another month.
So, you know, we can all speculate, we can all plan, and we're doing all sorts of scenario planning for the what-ifs.
But at the moment, we just don't know.
I think, Jamie, anything can happen.
At the moment, our position is we want to finish the season on the pitch.
Sporting integrity is of paramount importance.
