The Canadians placed Kirby Dock on LTIR, long-term injured reserve, retroactive to November 15th, and they placed Caden Gooley on LTIR, retroactive to October 15th.

Now, why would they do that?

Well, the Canadians prefer to keep their players, even when injured and injured for a period of time, off of LTIR because they can't accrue cap space for players that are injured.
