There was one goal in particular that Jacob Fowler took responsibility for.

I think he was a little bit hard on himself.

It was just a miscommunication where he was behind the net and Mieczkow kind of caught him.

His teammates should have alerted him to that incident.

Young goaltender, he said about his turnover, he said, quote, I'm going to learn from it.

I haven't given up many of those in my career.

Hopefully that's the last one.

Learn from it, get back on the ice tomorrow and move forward, end quote.

And that's okay.

He's a young goaltender.

Yeah, he's got to learn.

He made that mistake, or the team, he and his teammates made that mistake.

And he will learn from it, and he probably won't make it again.

That's kind of in stark contrast to what was happening in the goaltending department when Sam Montembeau was in that position.
