Well, and I think part of this is the Montreal media, it's hard for them to tell the truth about how bad Sam Montembeau has been so that if you can just heap everybody into the same barrel saying Canadians' goaltending has been bad, then it doesn't expose Montembeau for the horrible season that he's had.
Well, yeah, that's overarching that the Montreal Canadiens must do a better job of limiting high danger chances.
They must do a better job of the penalty kill.
They must do a better job when they're on the downside of the six on five trying to protect it.
a lead, all of those things are absolutely certain.
And that's why we were hoping that Kent Hughes would be able to secure some help for a right shot defenseman and how we're looking forward to the summer when he might
might deliver that help and maybe also deliver an upgrade on the defensive coach.

He was calm.
He was solid throughout the game.
Right off the hop, he made an excellent save.
And, you know, he just looked dialed in and focused.
in a very important game for both teams.
And then it was the final couple of minutes where Jacob Fowler was absolutely stellar.
Again, the Senators trying to come back up six on five.
And that's been such an Achilles heel for Montreal.
And you can't say that it was the defenders who did the job.
It was some sensational saves by Fowler in those last couple of minutes that preserved the win.
Yeah.
