Head coach Marty St.

Louis announced that each of his goaltenders would get, for the first two games, they'd each get a start.

And it was Montembeau getting the first start against the Islanders.

He keeps trying to convince everyone, maybe himself, that Monty is still that number one goalie, which, you know, he certainly is not.

And it hasn't been for many months now.

Um, this started well for, for the Canadians, um, and, uh, you know, Dobson, uh, looking maybe to prove something to the team that, uh, that traded him, uh, picked up two goals, his 11th and 12th of the season, um, Cole Caulfield, the power play goal, his 33rd goal of the season, uh,

Um, and Montembeau that for me, um, he didn't have it right, right off, um, the hop.

Um, he, his rebound control was bad.

His tracking was bad.

Uh, he had a shaky first period, although didn't give up a goal.

He was kind of saved by that, uh, offside call.
