at the different things that they could be doing, the different moves.

And that's not to say that just because we say that something is a longer-term project, this isn't black and white, that they can't happen at the trade deadline.

It's just they're less likely because of what might be available.

This year, there's no room for a one-dimensional player who can be a potent weapon on the field.

Power play, but who is a liability five-on-five.

Maybe there's another team out there that can take on a player like that.

There's just not a way to fit a player like that into the Montreal Canadiens lineup.

They don't really need Patrick Laino on the power play.

They have enough weapons.

And his five-on-five play is...
