When we are giving good thoughts for individuals, I never say their cancer came back the cancer because we don't own that that invades our bodies.
So just a word for all of us when we're thinking positive about anyone going through something,
DON'T CLAIM THAT DISEASE OR SITUATION.
FOR THEM IT IS JUST A SITUATION.

This is a truly special month for us and our field.
You know, Parks and Recreation provides so much joy to families and outings that we provide and experiences because that's what we provide our neighbors and our citizens.
So I do have a brief synopsis here.
But before I actually start, I would like to recognize several of our outstanding leadership team here.
And they are, and if you can just kind of wave.
Dr. Nancy Gassman, Amy Jean Baptiste, Enrique Sanchez, Glenn Hadwin, Judy Erickson, Laura Vogt, Leona Asamoah, Susan Riestra, Mark Almey, and Kim Pearson.
So this acknowledgement reflects the work of an extraordinary team that serves our neighborhood every day.
Our parks, programs, and public spaces strengthen this city.
They support the health and wellness, create safe spaces for play, build community, and improve the quality of life for all those who call Fort Lauderdale home.
I want to express my sincere appreciation to our team, which is represented with some here today.
