Do we want to uh go with the Parks Board recommendation of the fifteen hundred dollars and a cash bar option?

Uh do we want to still stay with the five events or do you want to go with uh a mixed mash of what you would with uh city staff recommendations with the two thousand dollar budget?

uh cash bar and then the additional uh event that you see here with the Great American Beach Party.

And with that uh it could be a combination of either of the two.

And I'll turn it over to you all for discussion.

So the historically the Great American Beach Party never had a hospitality area and so it wasn't uh a part of the that consideration.

So I I don't even think they that part even crossed their minds.

So this would be to standardize it across the board so that each hospitality area going forward would be at the two thousand dollar threshold limit and it would be those events only unless we got feedback from commission to add or remove an event.

So going forward whether you get a sponsor or not, we would have

Uh these here six events, two thousand dollars budgeted which we'll work through with uh Alora and her team to kind of implement going forward into this fiscal year um for these events going forward.

And I I think this'll achieve that.

You know, once we set this with your direction, um our team will make sure that we identify that, we'll kind of work with the budget that we have similar to the events that we have now and work within that budget.

So and I do so with that also being said, I mean

That's kind of what we've adopted for the past couple of years is that we didn't have a in a hospitality unless we got a sponsor, but that also led to

one event will be really nice and then the next one not so much nice.

And so I think the the effort of this would be to either we have them and we standardize it so it's across the board and it's equitable.
