And he's always just so cool, calm and collected.
And I think, you know, sometimes like having a tough season like this can't be easy for anybody, I think, with the expectations being so high.
I feel like, you know, lately it's probably taken a bit of a toll on him.
Obviously, we'll see what happens.
And it'll be a pretty emotional thing for him to go through.
I mean, this is the guy that's kind of bounced around different organizations.
But this is where he finally found a home and where he feels right at home.
And I know people in the organization, fans everywhere, all across Canada will probably be excited.
Really sad if it does happen.
So I guess we got to wait and see what the Toronto Blue Jays have in store for him.
yeah i think at the end of the day you have to look what's best for the organization right kevin gossman has been vocal about this it's a business at the end of the day it's they're not they're not here to make you feel good and oh yeah man you're a fan favorite so we're gonna keep you we've seen fan favorites get traded all the time and it just it just happens it just is that's just the nature of the business and you know somebody like kevin gossman who knows you know there's an unknown
thing about him is he going to pitch next season or is he not he's at the end of his contract so right now it's like hey man you have a chance to go win maybe he wants to go and do it somewhere else and maybe he just tells the organization hey i want to stay put but i think the organization is going to do what's best for their organization and if he's able to bring him bring uh one or two prospects in obviously that helps the organization and
Again, I wish we weren't talking about this because the expectations are so high on this team, and rightfully so.
But it hasn't worked out like that, and baseball just sucks like that sometimes.
Yeah, I think the expectation for the Toronto Blue Jays post-All-Star break was, let's see what we can do right around this time.
And they got off to a slow start, right?
I mean, I think if they would have gone on a crazy winning streak, we're not talking about them being sellers.
We're talking about them being buyers and who's going to help them make that final push into October, that wild card.
And
you know, it's tough, right?
