I wasn't feeling very good.
And as somebody who's done it before, I've been there where you just feel like the first few innings, it just doesn't feel right.

90 92 94 2 and i never threw 100 he has that in his back pocket so the fact that he can do that and then you know he's developed so many other pitches along his repertoire has made him that much more better it's not easy for a hitter to see 94 one inning and then see 100 two innings later so good for him uh he's put in the work he's showing the world why he's a scion contender
No, I think his pedigree speaks for itself.
I think we saw what he could do last October.
And I actually spoke about this on our podcast this morning.
It just seems like I think the whole trade stuff and him, the possibility of leaving Toronto has probably taken a little bit of a toll on his mindset and the way he's approached things.
Obviously, he's been pretty vocal, right, about not wanting to leave.
He doesn't want to go anywhere.
And he wishes that.

Having a tough season like this can't be easy for anybody, I think, with the expectations being so high.
I feel like, you know, lately it's probably taken a bit of a toll on him.

I mean, this is the guy that's kind of bounced around different organizations, but this is where he finally found a home and where he feels right at home.
