I mean, it wasn't just me sitting around writing haikus for the sake of writing haikus.
It was with a group of friends.
We agreed to all send haikus to each other every day for a year.
Yeah, it was super fun.
So I have a whole collection of haikus.
And I got into haikus.
I got into reading haikus.
The good haikus are not abstract.
These are like little mini essays that he's writing.
The good haikus are like...
you know, they describe nature usually like it's a physical butterfly.
And then you, you apply that.
It's basically like a metaphor or an analogy that you can then like draw like, Oh, that's like this person was, you know, losing a daughter or something.
And that's why they wrote about the, the pedal falling from the flower.
You know, it's like that kind of, and the artistry of it is in being very immediate and you,
detail oriented and focused on something in the physical world so that then you apply the abstract thought to it by reading it.
Obviously anything flies as haiku if it fits.
So I'm not going to say that that's why it makes it bad, but at least stick to the syllable count.
