When I first started thinking of this question, whether it's ever okay to keep financial secrets from your partner, my brain kept thinking of it from the lens of betrayal.
But after chatting about it with so many people, the question started to feel a little different.
It became less about morality and more about what we feel entitled to keep for ourselves.
