Because all future people will exist.

That's what it means to be a future person.

If I never exist, I'm just this hypothetical possibility.

And for that doesn't have a good or a bad, um

So my my baseline for evaluating what's good or bad for me begins with existence.

So my e existence is like this kind of scale where I put the goods on one side, like a balancing scale and the bads in the other side, and hopefully the goods that weigh the bad.

But existence itself is just the scale that I'm putting things on.

And so if I have a fourteen year old mother, that goes on the bad side of the scale.

Now if other people in my life are really nice to me and give me other good things that weigh down

So that the good side is is weightier.

So I'm glad I exist and existence is fine for me or whatever, but it doesn't make anything on the bad side of the scale any better for me than it was before.

It's so bad for me.

So by doing that to me, you've done something that burdens me.
