groggy slow from the weed.
I would do uppers to be able to go to my bar job.
And then I would drink on the job.
And I have a history of getting fired from bar jobs for being too drunk.
When I'm doing it alone, when I'm hiding it, when I'm, you know, lying to my dad about needing money for a new shirt for an audition and then using it to buy nose drugs.
So when I first got sober, I ran into a guy that would give me coke.
And I was just like, hey, just so you know, like, don't text me anymore.
And like, I don't I don't do drugs anymore.
but thank you for your service.
Your stuff was great.
He was just like, can I tell you something crazy?
I'm not a Coke dealer.
I was just like, what?
He was just like, yeah, we did Coke together once and you assumed I was a Coke dealer.
I was like, you do look like one.
He, I guess, was sourcing it and testing it for me to make sure I wasn't doing laced drugs.
So shout out to him.
I'm not going to name him, but it almost feels fortuitous.
Almost like something or someone out there was protecting me while I was choosing to do cocaine.
And it was a fun, wild ride.
