And we're not paying attention to, I think, our intuition, because I think that is the link that ties us back to what do you think our intuition is?
Well, I think some people think that the intuition is just neurons firing, right?
And that gives us an intuition.
But I think it's something more than that.
And I think it gets back to this fundamental question of consciousness.
The fundamental question is, is consciousness derivative from the physical body?
So if you have just the neurons in the brain and you have all of the connections, what we call the connectome, does that result in consciousness?
Or is it the other way around?
Is it that consciousness exists outside of the physical body and that we are kind of tapped into that?
And so this is a fundamental debate within science and religion as well, right?
Most scientists say it's all physical, that's all there is.
You die and that's it, right?
And what are your thoughts is just based upon your neurons.
And then most religions say the opposite, right?
They say that there is a part of you that is outside the physical world and that is where consciousness comes from.
And this is an ongoing debate.
They have a science of consciousness conference every year.
And everybody has their ideas about what consciousness is.
