I'm not saying that people are out there saying great things, but there's no criticism of him. And there's a sense of, okay, maybe he's the person who can coordinate all of these efforts. He is going to be Speaker of the House in my view.

I mean, he obviously got to fight through every election, but there's the sense of these tax breaks for the very wealthy and the cuts to Medicaid, the cuts to public education, the sense that this unelected billionaire is doing this. And It's really upset folks. And, you know, very briefly, I was in rural Nebraska. I've been doing these town halls. And I, as a good politician, I'm briefed.

And they say, look, well, you got to talk about one billion dollars of cuts to farmers. And the farmers are not able to now provide food to churches and to school kids. And people applaud. But you know what they really want to talk about? You want to talk about immigration, rural community, 90 percent white saying, why are they trampling over the Constitution?

Why are they deporting people without due process? So I just think they've overreached. And I think there's a very good chance, very, very good chance a key speaker.

I think he should be out there. I think he should say, look, I'm going to be the next Speaker of the House. I mean, we're going to win. And here is my vision for the country. Here is my foreign policy vision. I'm going to, when I win, going to help to start to reestablish ties with Canada, with Japan, with South Korea, all these things that Donald Trump has broken.

I'm going to reestablish ties with NATO. On a domestic front, I'm going to offer an economic vision that's actually going to bring costs down, that's actually going to raise... people's wages, that's actually going to create economic revitalization places. So I think he is going to win by acclimation.

If we're in the majority, it's not going to be one of these, okay, you got to scramble for the votes. And what I've said to him privately and now publicly is, Hey, start to give the direction of your speakership. What is it? What are you going to do? And he can almost be forward looking. I think the message for 2026 kind of writes itself.
