Not every community obviously should become Silicon Valley or have huge tech companies, but these local communities and how they're going to develop, how they want to economically develop. But to really have a focus on economic development in those communities, partnering with the local communities, providing whether it's federal investment for certain manufacturing, whether it's investment in their universities, investment in skilled trades and a workhorse, figuring out how we have government buy things if they're baking them to their figuring out how we have tech academies, because everyone's going to need some understanding of technology, even if they want to be a plumber or a nurse.

And I think that's where the Democrats really can offer a vision. Silicon Valley wasn't built by tariffs. It was built by federal investment. And to me, a Marshall Plan for the country would work. Now, where I criticize past Democratic approaches, I don't think you can do it without business leaders. I don't think you can do it without technology leaders.
