Sam and Jack were best mates for a time in high school, back when Jack and his family lived over on the coast.
He still can't quite believe his friend is gone.
Back in high school, Sam and Jack did everything together.
You sound a lot more like brothers than friends really.
Sam and Jack stayed mates even as Sam moved interstate for a while, and Jack moved back and forth between the Sunshine Coast and the towns around Fix Crossing.
During those years, they were housemates too.
They lived in three different places together, and at one point Sam even got Jack a job where he was working.
For a while, the two of them got really into spirituality.

Exploring these interests led them to a whole new set of experiences.

Then, about a year before Jack went missing, the two mates organized to catch up at Sam's place.
