They gave up four goals.
To me, it was still not good enough.
This team is a better defensive team than they showed in this series.
And the Ducks can score.
They can.
They give up chances, but they can score.
But the Oilers have just... Third goal.
Oilers have the puck on the stick.
They don't get it out.
Turns up in their own net.
Game-winning goal in overtime.
Before, there was the controversy...
the trent frederick had the puck on his stick didn't get it out those are plays that need to be made they're they're small details that turn into big problems in important hockey games so to me the others have to be a better defensive team because they're not going to outscore their mistakes against the anaheim ducks because the anaheim ducks we talked so many times you and i over the season where the others would have an off night defensively
But because they played Chicago or San Jose or Vancouver or Calgary, we're like, okay, against a good team, they wouldn't have got away with that.
Well, Anaheim's a good offensive team, and they're not getting away with it.
Tonight, in this game, they've got to play sound defensive hockey.
They have to play a road game on home ice, the type that they've played in Vegas, in L.A., in Salt Lake.
They've had some really good shutdown games where you think defense first.
If they do that, get on a couple power plays.
Their power play is now starting to look like the normal power play and try to win this game 2-1, try to win this game 3-2.
