And I was thinking, well, to me, that last night's game was a glass half full type game.
They played a very good Colorado team.
I'll be without a couple of really good players as the Oilers were missing some as well.
But to me, it was a continuation, guys, of what the Oilers have been doing lately, and that's playing good defensive hockey.
They're giving themselves a chance.
They're in every game.
They're not giving up the odd man rushes.
They're not making the big mistakes.
The goals against are down.
Their goaltending has been consistent.
And they're doing it without two of their best offensive players.
that would make a difference on the offensive end.
So to me, if you have a Leon or a Hyman in the game, you don't need them to be there to win a game 1-0.
You need them to get that one extra goal.
and to help on the power play.
And I went with Bob the other day.
I said that the Utah game, having Hyman and Leon in the game wouldn't have helped when they lost that game 6-5 because they scored enough goals.
They weren't good defensively.
But all these other games, the 1-0 loss, the 2-1 shootout loss,
You think if they play that good defensively and you add Leon and Hyman, what they can do five on five and certainly what they would do on the power play, you're pretty confident that you're going to find a different result at the end of the game.
