A significant winter storm looks to impact parts of the northeast for the late part of the weekend into early next week.

Blizzard warnings up for the Jersey Shore, New York City, Long Island, and coastal Connecticut.

Elsewhere, we're going to see winter storm warnings, though we may see some blizzard warnings go up for Cape Cod, the islands, as well as southeastern Massachusetts.

Some areas in southern New England may see over 18 inches of snow, and we could see up to 18 inches of snow across parts of Long Island by the time the storm is winding down.

A nor'easter that's going to develop east of the Delmarva Peninsula late in the weekend and pass south of Long Island and New England on Monday looks to bring about three to six inches of snow to Washington.

Late Sunday on into early Monday, 8 to 14 inches for much of the Tri-State area.

Southern New England, we'll see anywhere from 12 to 18 inches in the immediate Boston area.

There'll be some areas south of Boston that exceed 18 inches.

It'll all wrap up late in the day on Monday and Monday evening.
