All of a sudden, one loss.
And it's like, hey, stress is high.
You know, now we're not where we need to be and all those sorts of things.
And the players look at you like, hey, hang on.
You've been talking development all year.
And we're a byproduct of this and we have one loss.
And now all of a sudden the sky is falling.

Do you fear what the players talk about if you're not addressing it?
Like if you don't go into that post game, do you worry about what the locker room looks like, sounds like, feels like in that space?
The only reason I ask that is because I've done similar over the years and I've had that exact situation you were just talking about.
They didn't pass me the ball.
And it didn't blow up, but it certainly got tense in that sort of space and I wasn't there to address it.
And it's like, well, how much am I relying on 14-year-old boys to sort this out?
Kids that can't emotionally regulate by that stage, they can't convey their thoughts, feelings and emotions across at that stage.
Parental influence that starts to impact on that as well.
Can we trust them to figure that out themselves?
Yeah.
Or do we need to intervene as the coach?
