Well, it is one of those things.
You have to beat them anyway.
Like if you want to win it, you have to beat everyone.
Yeah.
Along those lines, yeah.
But it's what you want.
Yeah.
Like, you want that even competition where anyone can beat anyone.
Because I think, like...
you know the right player comes in hot and all of a sudden that game's taken away from you real quick like it's those sorts of things but it is one of those ones this time of year in particular like the defensive teams tend to stand up like they're the like yeah there are teams that can hang 120 points on you in the blink of an eye it feels like but
it really is defense that will win you championships this time of year.
I feel like, like if you, if you know what your identity is, you know what it is, you know, you can do pretty much whatever you want.
It's shooting is just such a flippant skill or scoring is such a flippant.
all those little things and then it's like you start doing that and it's like all the review clips are like defense to offense defense it's like wow we're not actually executing anything it was actually just fast break and shots we really value which is an open layup yeah the best kind of offense and that's like the biggest thing like to try and get through to coaches is like you can run the best offense in the world if your defense holds up you'll get layups anyway so don't worry about it like it's it really is start with the defense being the backbone of your group and that'll foster everything out I think from there more than anything else but
There are plenty of ways to end your season, whether it goes well, whether it doesn't go well, whatever, end on a win, end on a loss.
Only one team can win it.
I think every team thinks they can win it at the start of the year and then luck, injuries, form, everything else under the sun will play a part on that as you go through it more than anything else.
But the idea is to end it on a positive where you possibly can, whether that be a win, whether that be everyone wants to come back again next season.
I would suggest that's the positive, but you've got to try and figure that out as you go through it, I think.
It's not as simple as just, okay, end of season, catch everyone next year.
