We got a lot to get to here today, Goodman.

But seeing as practice in the offseason officially started for the Kentucky Wildcats today, let's just talk a little bit big picture about this team, about this group, about this roster, about the makeup.

We, along with quite a few other people, were quite critical of the start of Kentucky's offseason, seeing who they missed on and some of the players that they weren't able to bring in.

But now that they've filled out this roster, now that they have Milan Momchilovic and Malachi Moreno and a couple of point guards in the backcourt and some interesting high-ceiling talents coming off the bench potentially, what do you make of this team?

What do you make of Mark Pope's roster?

And what do you make of where we are right now in Big Blue Nation?

Well, I'll say this.

Mark Pope looked pretty good when I saw him this past week in Rock Hill, South Carolina at the NBA Top 100 camp.

A little bit of scruff.

Looked like he hadn't shaved for a little while, but a lot of smiles coming out of Mark Pope.

right now and that probably wasn't the case quite as much you know three weeks ago before malachi moreno made his decision to come back before they got milan montilovich um so i i think right now he and the staff not just smiles coming out of him you know mo williams was there cody was there um and i think again they put together a roster that at least gives you a legitimate shot

to be a top 10 team this year.

And I'm not saying I would rank him top 10 today, but again, the one thing that's so different now as opposed to years ago is, you know, we're going to do these rankings and we have done them.

And there's so many unknowns because of mid-major players obviously transferring up, but also all the international players littered across most of the rosters.

And obviously, Mark Pope and his staff have one, and Usman Njai, that a lot of people don't know a lot about, including us.
