I hated him.

The story is my buddy and I went to a Whalers game once.

Well, we went to a few Whalers games, but we went to one at Hartford.

And we sat.

Somehow we got next to the penalty box.

And Ray Ferraro, who now does the play-by-play, and he's down on the ice while Sean McDonough's up top.

Ray Ferraro was in the penalty box.

And my buddy and I were those idiots who were banging on the penalty box, yelling and screaming at him.

And Ray Ferrara gave us the dirtiest look ever.

We were probably in college.

I think we were probably 19, 20 years old.

So I hated the Whalers.

And now I love the Carolina Hurricanes.

And very cool to see them win it all.

And the goalie, incredible story, Rob.

This kid, not a kid, he's 27, Brandon Bussey, made his NHL debut.

NHL debut this year and ends up being the goalie in relief of Freddie Anderson, who ends up winning the Stanley Cup the last three games, three and a half games.

He comes in in relief and won the whole thing.

Really cool.

I don't know who any of the people that you just named are, but what I do know is that it's now official that you are a front-running bandwagon fan, and it is now all but confirmed.
